We all, well most of us anyway, would like to have more money – usually a whole lot more. We feel we haven’t got all the money we need to live how we want to live, that we haven’t got ‘enough’. And with much of the world currently in economic crisis many of us are feeling this financial lack even more acutely than usual.

Our individual financial situation is, of course, as it is…and then there are our ‘stories’ – what we habitually tell ourselves about this financial situation. The former, then, is our current financial reality and the latter is how we perceive this reality.

The problem is that most of us tend to believe, if only unconsciously (sometimes even when we tell ourselves otherwise), that only if the former changes will the latter change. But is this really how it works? I believe it’s our beliefs about our financial abundance that result in the financial abundance we manifest.

This is a vital awareness. It takes us out of victim hood and gives us power. It means through changing our beliefs we can potentially change our circumstances.

Unfortunately our negative beliefs can be very intransigent. They are commonly hidden within our unconscious and often operate in direct conflict to what we consciously want. I call these hidden beliefs ‘silent saboteurs’, and they stop us living in abundance.

So, you might well ask, how do I silence these silent saboteurs? The answer is simple. There are various processes I use that have all the power we need to help us uncover and clear out our silent saboteurs, in this instance specifically related to money, and open into a whole new level of financial abundance.

This may seem like hocus pocus but it happens. It’s simple – letting go of our silent saboteurs enables us to open into greater financial abundance.

It is really important to remind ourselves though, particularly in times of financial lack, that money in itself is not abundance. It’s a lovely thing to have for sure, but it’s not true abundance. There are, as the saying goes, “Some people so poor that all they have is money.”

This sounds so obvious doesn’t it? And it might also sound pretty irritating if you are struggling financially at the moment, but it also happens to be true. The problem is that most of us are guilty of forgetting this at least some of the time.
What I find is that often people come primarily with financial issues but soon realize, through my work and other powerful exercises, that their true desire, their true abundance, is far far greater than this. It’s as if they have been living with blinkers on and suddenly they are able to see the whole world around them in all its magnificence.

Sometimes people I work with specifically put out for money, and this is very welcomed, but much more frequently they put out for some other extraordinary aspect of abundance. The irony in all of this is that very often as a result of this opening, of this welcoming into abundance, people not only receive what they put out for, but they also receive greater financial abundance!

Isn’t this what true abundance is about? Our silent saboteurs are like dams, stopping some or much of the flow of our lives. Once they’re gone, once we’ve cleared them out, our flow returns and our lives can start to unfold in so many magical ways…often ways that we didn’t imagine.
