I hope you all had a wonderful holiday time! I am always aware that when a new year starts it feels like letting go of old things and bringing in the new. Things we no longer want to have in our life can be left behind and we get to turn over a new leaf with new things on the horizon. What are you wanting to bring into your life in the coming year? Are you wanting to heal from relationship conflicts, deal with unresolved traumas, revive your energy, improve your health, or transform your inner self so you are more in alignment with who you truly are?
At Renewed Life Counseling we offer a Christ-Centered approach to bring healing that is lasting so you are no longer plagued with unwanted symptoms. Emotions that have been stuffed away create blockages in our energy level and symptoms that we no longer want to have. I worked with a client this year who had been experiencing a lot of energy drops and struggles with not being able to connect with her emotions that she couldn’t seem to get help with. She had been through multiple Christian mentors, therapists, and deliverance ministries, but nothing had helped her. When she delved into the deeper trauma from her childhood that had held her in bondage, she began to experience less and less fatigue. She now feels free to have the energy to enjoy life!
In the New Year, think of what you want to see differently that will propel you further toward freedom in your relationships and work arena. Then use the power of your imagination to view how it would look if you actually achieved what you want. The brain doesn’t know whether you have achieved it or not. Andrew Womack has a 10-part series on Youtube on the Power of Imagination. I haven’t gone through the series entirely, but I know the power that is available to you. To achieve your goals in 2026, you may find it easier to get there by writing down your objectives and visualizing yourself accomplishing them.
However, if you find yourself self-sabotaging things, you might need to view what blockages are keeping you stuck. People aren ‘t aware of how our subconscious belief patterns keep us in certain patterns that prevent us from moving forward. Journaling can be a good discovery tool to help you begin to identify what’s in your way subconsciously.
I encourage you to live your best life in 2026!
